Bonsai movement - Creighton Bostrom Charlotte, NC, USA

After a two year mentorship under the legendary Mike Brawley of Charlotte, NC, I submitted a portfolio of work to the American Bonsai Society for consideration for the Joshua Roth New Talent Competition. I was accepted and fortunate to win the 2013 New Talent Competition at the ABS convention in Saratoga Springs, NY.

The prize awarded was a scholarship to study with the master of my choosing. I chose to study at Bonsai Mirai, the school of Ryan and Chelsea Neil in St. Helens, Oregon, where I have been a student since 2013.
